We are looking for an Automotive Expert
Are you passionate about the automotive industry and equipped with sharp analytical skills? As an Automotive Matrix Specialist, you play a crucial role in managing and analyzing data related to car parts, pricing, and costs. You combine your knowledge of vehicles and data to create innovative solutions and contribute to a more efficient future within the automotive sector.
Your Role
1. Expanding Knowledge of Car Parts and Market Trends
Utilize and deepen your understanding of car parts, repair processes, and vehicle life cycles.
Keep track of market prices and costs for parts and maintenance services, identifying trends and opportunities.
Support the team in identifying key maintenance actions and replacements for different vehicle stages.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting
You analyze datasets related to car parts, cost structures, and market developments.
You draw clear conclusions from data and translate them into recommendations for improvements in IT and business processes.
You prepare insightful reports that support decision-making and strategy.
3. Developing Business Cases
You create compelling business cases for new projects or system improvements, focusing on process optimization, cost control, and customer satisfaction
You evaluate the impact and feasibility of initiatives and translate business needs into practical IT solutions.
4. Catalog Management
You develop and maintain a standardized catalog of car parts, tasks, and associated costs.
You ensure the catalog is always up-to-date and complete, and you draft specifications and methods for new entries.
5. Price Validation
You support cases involving the accuracy of car part pricing.
You perform price validations and ensure prices align with market trends and cost structures.
6. Support for Garages and Integration
You assist garages with the integration of their systems into the organization via web services.
You provide technical and functional support, including documentation and training, to ensure seamless collaboration.
What qualities do you need?
Education and Experience
A degree, preferably in automotive, business administration, engineering, IT or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of the automotive industry, car parts, maintenance processes, and vehicle life cycles.
Experience with data analysis and data-driven recommendations.
Familiarity with (IT) systems, web services, and data integration.
Knowledge of DMS is a must.
Experience in creating business cases is a plus.
